The American Health Council has cordially appointed Dr. Atul Joshi to its prestigious Healthcare Board. Working in the healthcare industry for 23 years, Dr. Joshi is an expert in the field of Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Joshi was inspired to become a physician by his grandfather, who had spent many years in the profession. This early exposure to medicine gave him a fascination for the field. During rotations he experienced a variety of different specialties, but soon knew that emergency medicine was the right pathway for him. Dr. Joshi studied Emergency Medicine at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, receiving his DO qualification in 1995.
For the past seven years, Dr. Joshi has served as an Emergency Room Physician at TeamHealth, an organization that aims to perfect physicians’ abilities to practice medicine across all fields and tasks. On a day to day basis, Dr. Joshi spends 100% of his time working in clinical care and emergency medicine. He has extensive expertise in Emergency Medicine and attributes his success to having a genuine love and passion for medicine, alongside his ability to help others.
Dr. Joshi is proud of the many successful procedures he has performed and of how he has helped his patients get back to living a normal life. Looking to the future, Dr. Joshi would like to continue to provide excellent care to all of his patients.
When not at work, Dr. Joshi enjoys regularly traveling to India.
