Dr. Angelina Rodriguez, MDDr. Angelina Rodriguez, MD has been warmly welcomed as “Best in Medicine” by the American Health Council. With a distinguished career as a family physician, Dr. Rodriguez has dedicated over 9 years to her profession.

Dr. Rodriguez began her career path in medicine where she was accepted at the University of Saint Eustatius School of Medicine. This was followed in 200 by her M.D.

Currently, Dr. Angelina Rodriguez is a Physician at Oak Hill Hospital. The esteemed professional specializes in Family Medicine, Pediatrics/Adolescents and Geriatrics. As part of her role, Dr. Rodriguez continually aims to provide continuity of care to all patients in her practice, working with a wide spectrum of cases ranging from newborn babies to the elderly. Her role also involves her teaching medical residents and students, and rounding in the hospital.

Oak Hill Hospital is a 280-bed facility providing a range of services through its Heart Institute, Orthopaedic & Spine Institute, Maternity Suites, Cancer Institute, Women’s Imaging Center, Pediatric ER and adult Emergency Rooms, and ExpressLab.

Dr. Rodriguez first became involved in the profession as a family medicine physician as this allowed her the flexibility to practice across a wide spectrum of medicine and allowed her to treat people of all ages. The ability to provide continuity of care and develop meaningful relationships with her patients and their families is an element she truly values and is hugely grateful to be able to make a difference to the lives of those within her community.

Experiencing multiple achievements whilst still at the early stages of a flourishing career, Dr. Rodriguez attributes her success to the enduring support of her family and all of the patients she has had the privilege to help.

Throughout her many accomplishments, Dr. Rodriguez holds achieving her Fellowship in Academic Medicine in 2012 in high esteem. Also, she was particularly proud to receive the Physician Recognition Award from the American Medical Association in 2015.

To remain at the forefront of her role and continually looking to build upon on her medical knowledge to provide the best duty of care, Dr. Rodriguez is an active member of a number of professional associations, as a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine and member of the American Academy of Family Medicine, the American Medical Association, the Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors, the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine and the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians.

In the future, Dr Rodriguez wishes to continue pursuing her professional growth within her academic capacity in medicine and also within her clinical practice, allowing her the opportunity to continue to help and serve her patients.

Proud to have her husband by her side for support, outside of work and medicine, Dr. Rodriguez’s enjoys spending quality time with him and their 5 children. In her spare time, her hobbies include, cooking, interior decorating and travelling as well as a particular interest in snowboarding. Dr. Rodriguez also dedicates her free time to Access Health Ohio, where she provides frequent community health education by the way of local media coverage.
