The American Health Council has welcomed Dr. Jeffrey L. Wilt, MD, as ” Best in Medicine” in recognition of his extensive experience of over three decades in the field of Medicine and Education, specializing in Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Vascular Medicine.
Dr. Wilt currently holds the renowned positions of Director of Medical ICU and Head of Pulmonary Medical Care as well as acting Associate Professor of Medicine at Michigan State University. Dr. Wilt received his Undergraduate Degree in the Integrated Premedical-Medical Program in 1986. After success in the Premedical program at the university, he subsequently graduated with his Doctor of Medicine Degree in 1988.
After receiving his Medical Degree, Dr. Wilt began his internship Blodgett Memorial Medical Center/St. Mary’s Health Services where he thrived which led to his position serving as Chief Resident at St. Mary’s Health Services. Dr. Wilt completed his Residency at Spectrum Health – Blodgett Campus (GME) in 1991 and his Fellowship at the West Virginia University (GME) in 1995.
Dr. Wilt received his Board Certifications in Critical Care Medicine in 1995 and Pulmonary Disease in 1994. Additionally, he is affiliated with professional associations including the Michigan State Medical Society, the American Medical Association and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
