The American Health Council has warmly welcomed Dr. Phyllis Simon-Goldman, M.D.,as “Best in Medicine.”
Having gained over 14 years of experience, Dr. Simon-Goldman, from Dix Hills, New York, is a highly regarded Pediatrician and Partner with expertise in Medicine, Patient Care, Newborn Care, and Pediatrics.
Dr. Simon-Goldman became involved in her profession because she wanted the opportunity to help those in need. Some members of her family developed cancer and at the time, Dr. Simon- Goldman felt helpless at not being able to help them. Her goal as a doctor is to make a positive impact every day.
Having completed her MD in Medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University, Dr. Simon-Goldman completed her Residency in Pediatrics at Schneider Children’s Hospital. Currently, she works as a Pediatrician – Partner at Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine – a division of ProHealth.
Established in 1976, Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine has taken pride in their continued commitment to providing compassionate, high quality patient care and healthcare services to their patients and their families. ProHealth is a multi-specialty physician group practice offering one- stop health care for the entire family. Key services provided include: Adolescent Medicine, Healthcare, Nursing, Medicine, Asthma Treatment and Care, Assistance with Emotional Issues, Emergency Care, Nutritional Support, Sports Medicine, and Well Care Visits.
Having spent 12 years in her current role Dr. Simon-Goldman’s day to day responsibilities include seeing approximately 30 patients a day. She performs wellness and sick visits where she educates her patients’ families on preventative methods. Above all, she provides excellence in patient care every day.
Attributing her success to her passion and hard work, Dr. Simon-Goldman was proud to receive the New York Top Doctors Recognition. She is also affiliated with the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Pediatrics-New York Division.
Goals within the next 5 years include continuing to grow in the position she is in. Dr. Simon-Goldman looks forward to growing as a doctor as well as in administration.
When not busy working, Dr. Simon-Goldman enjoys spending time with her family and running around for her children’s activities. She also enjoys reading and crafting during her free time.
