Dr. Ignacio Castellon, MD has been warmly welcomed as “Best in Medicine” by the American Health Council for his dedication to the healthcare industry during 13 years as a physician, and his particular expertise in Radiation Oncology.
Dr. Castellon was inspired to pursue medicine as a boy by his grandfather, a surgeon in Nicaragua, and his path was confirmed when he undertook an internship at Mount Sinai Hospital Center. He excelled in his chosen field from a young age, winning a National Hispanic Scholarship and the Arnold A. He received his MD from the University of Miami School of Medicine in 2004, and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha.
