Dr. James Young, D.O., has been warmly welcomed as “Best in Medicine” by the American Health Council for his contributions to the healthcare industry over the course of two decades, and for his achievements in his current role as Medical Director for his own firm, Goldfingers Aesthetics.
Dr. Young aspired to become a doctor from a young age, having been strongly influenced in his childhood through watching his grandfather practice as a dentist. Utilizing his friendly nature and personality, Dr. Young goes out of his way to provide an exceptional service, befriending and interacting with all of his patients – attributes he learned from his dad.
Dr. Young began his academic studies at the University of Louisville where he obtained his BS in 1992. Following on from this accomplishment, he went on to study at the Nova Southeastern University where he achieved his DO in 1996.
Dr. Young has spent the past six years in his current role of Medical Director of Goldfingers Aesthetics. Goldfingers Aesthetics provides an everyday indulgence that leaves clients feeling invigorated and refreshed, with smoother, refreshed skin and an overall healthier appearance. Dr. Young believes that it is these subtle, understated changes that create the most dramatic differences. With a professional staff of highly- trained skin care experts and doctors, the team at Goldfingers Aesthetics use their creative ability, expertise and licensed training to give patients the highest quality in cosmetic enhancement services. Attention to detail, artistry and consistency are echoed throughout, with services provided including aesthetics, Botox, dermal fillers, men’s services, medical spa treatments and plastic surgery.
Throughout Dr. Young’s years in the healthcare industry, he has gained an array of experience, practicing Emergency Medicine in Central Florida for over 19 years. Dr. Young turned to the cosmetic side of his practice more than 6 years ago when he became medical director of Goldfingers Aesthetics in Altamonte Springs. Over the last few years that wonderful practice has expanded to 4 locations and a cosmetic dentistry office. His daily roles and responsibilities include performing procedures which involve Botox and fillers, as well as overseeing the day to day operations and management administration tasks. The rapid expansion of the Goldfingers name in Central Florida is a reflection of the increasing demand of his high standards of care and service.
In order to maintain his high level of medical knowledge and provide the best treatment, Dr. Young is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association.
In the future, Dr. Young aspires to expand his already successful company, with a view to opening a further three offices in the Orlando area.
Outside of work, Dr. Young enjoys keeping active by exercising, and spending time with his wife and sons. Whenever possible, he also dedicates his time to the Special Olympics.
