Joseph G.A. Ibrahim, MD, FAAPMR is the current CEO and Director of Interventional Spine and Pain Management, is being welcomed to the American Health Council as “Best in Medicine.” Dr. Joseph Ibrahim has held his current role for the past ten years while attributing 26 years to the healthcare industry. He is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and has expertise in Neuromodulation, Neuropathic Pain, and Minimally Invasive Techniques.
While at Alexandria University, Dr. Ibrahim received his Medical Degree in General Medicine. Following his graduation, he was offered a Residency at Upstate Medical University, where he chose his specialty in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with a subspecialty in Pain Management and Minimally Invasive Spine interventions. He then received a Fellowship endorsed by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education for Interventional Spine and Pain Management at Emory University.
When Dr. Joseph Ibrahim was deciding what path to take in his education, he considered the doctors he had in his family and how they had inspired him through recollections of the work they had done. He took their words in good faith that this would be the career best suited for him and has never once faltered.
Each day, Dr. Ibrahim treats his patients who suffer from chronic pain with minimally invasive techniques to help manage and condition them back into good health. He even provides same-day surgery to his patients who need quick treatment.
Dr. Ibrahim, considers his concise and efficient practice to be his greatest professional accomplishment. The satisfaction he has from seeing his patients after they have received their individualized treatment or surgery gives him a sense of pride and motivates him to work even harder.
The work Dr. Ibrahim has done has been praised for his many awards and honors. He was named the Most Compassionate Provider in 2012 and was given the Patient’s Choice Award five years in a row. He was given the title of the Most Honored Professional for the high-quality rapport and care he provides his patients.
In addition to running an innovative and efficient medical center, Dr. Joseph Ibrahim has also combined his knowledge with accredited medical groups such as the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the New Jersey Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and the American Academy of Pain Medicine. He is in constant contact with his fellow advocates, ensuring that his medical facility provides the most advanced procedures and treatments for spine and pain management.
Future ambitions for Dr. Ibrahim includes the expansion of his two new locations and the continuation in providing non-invasive treatments to his patients.
When he has time, Dr. Ibrahim, enjoys donating to his local church and orphanage. He also contributes to charities devoted to helping under-developed countries.
