Dr. Kumar has been committed to the practicing of Cardiology for the past 14 years and is currently the owner of Heart Care Consultants. On a daily basis, Dr. Kumar’s responsibilities include practice management and administration as well as patient care.
To pursue his career choice, Mr. Carlson attended South Dakota University to attain his B.S. in Electronics, graduating in 1990. Following this, Mr. Carlson went on to gain his CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) and CQA (Certified Quality Auditor) - these provided him with the fundamental skills and knowledge to understand the responsibilities of being an engineer and auditor.
The Virginia Center for Allergy and Asthma was founded by Dr. Sikora for the past twenty-four years. The attending staff has been researching Allergy Care in Pediatrics, Immunology, Drug Allergies, Food Allergies, and Stinging Insect Allergies. Dr. Sikora and his practice bring value to both his colleagues and patients, by extracting information on how to better identify and treat a very serious yet common ailment.
Dr. Appel maintains an active schedule as she currently serves as both director of the Transport Program and assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the Georgetown University Medical Center and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. While she has held the latter role for 20 years, Dr. Appel has spent the last 24 years gaining expertise in pediatric critical care medicine, pediatric sedation, pediatric transport and education.
