The American Health Council has cordially appointed Ms. Linda Stoeber as “Best in Medicine.” Drawing on over 15 years within the industry, Ms. Stoeber, from Blaine, Maine, is an experienced Senior Program Manager with expertise in Clinical Research, Health Education and Community Health.

Ms. Stoeber became involved in her current profession due to a natural progression. After completing a BS in Elementary Education at Pensacola Christian College in 1998, Ms. Stoeber embarked on a successful 15-year career which has led to her current position as Senior Program Manager at Medtronic, a role she has upheld for the past two years.

With a focus on healthcare, change management, management and regulations, Ms. Stoeber’s day to day responsibilities include duties such as compliance regulations, management of policies and procedures, change management, project management negotiations, and ethical practices.

Medtronic is a medical device company that focuses on improving and transforming the lives of millions of people. Their mission is “to contribute to human welfare by application of biomedical engineering in the research, design, manufacture, and sale of instruments of application that alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life.” Though initially started as a medical equipment repair shop by two men in 1949, Medtronic has expanded to include medical technologies from implantable mechanical devices, surgical instruments and biologic delivery devices.

Looking to the future, Ms. Stoeber plans to continue developing her skills within her current role and progressing within the field.
