The American Health Council has proudly welcomed Dr. Michael Badik as “Best in Medicine.” Having accumulated over a decade of service to the healthcare industry, Dr. Badik is distinguished in his role as a family physician.

The esteemed doctor became involved in his current profession after deciding that he wanted to apply his knowledge of science to patients, as well as be able to manage their health. Dr. Badik chose the pursue family medicine due to the enjoyment of management and working with others in medicine.

Having completed his DO in Family Medicine in 2006 at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Badik successfully completed his Residency in Family Medicine at United Hospital Center.

Currently, Dr. Badik upholds the position of family physician at ProMedica Physicians Group, a locally-owned, non-profit health system that provides quality health care services to 27 counties in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. They are a network of hospitals, physicians, health care professionals, researchers, and specialty clinics and facilities. ProMedica offers a full range of diagnostic, medical, and surgical specialties in areas such as emergency medicine and trauma, heart and vascular, oncology, orthopedics, neurology, women’s services, and children’s services.

Having spent seven years in his role, Dr. Badik has extensive expertise in Osteopathic Manipulation. His daily responsibilities include the oversight of the family practice, working exclusively with outpatients. Dr. Badik sees a variety of patients from newborns to end of life.

Keen to remain at the forefront of his industry, Dr. Badik is affiliated with the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association. He attributes his success to his compassion for his patients, as well as his ability to relate to others.

Goals within the next 5 years include the continuation of growing the practice with his wife, who is also a DO. He counts his marriage to his wife, Jill Badik, DO, as well as
raising their 4 boys, Gabe, Noah, Isaac, and Luke, as one of his greatest personal achievements.

When not busy working, Dr. Badik enjoys hiking, camping, and swimming.
