Dr. Shadi Ayyas, MD is a Medical Director and Internist for the Department of Justice, specializing in internal general medicine for over 18 years.

Dr. Shadi Ayyas received his Bachelor’s in applied science and Pre-medicine at the American University of Beirut. He also received his Medical Degree from St. Mary’s School of Medicine in 1999.

Initially, Dr. Ayyas went into anesthesia, however being an effective communicator, Anesthesiology did not allow him to engage in conversation and build relationships with his patients, so he transferred to internal medicine. Dr. Ayyas specializes in internal general medicine and is a member of several organizations including, the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, and the DNC Association.

Amongst the several organizations that Dr. Ayyas is apart of, Dr. Ayyas is involved with many Charitable associations. These include, assisting with the Affordable Care Act, Doctors for America. Dr. Ayyas is also an Obama Issued Leader in Washington D.C. in 2014.

In his free time Dr. Ayyas enjoys reading, writing, and playing basketball.
