The American Health Council has cordially invited Dr. Veronica Chiang, MD, as Best in Medicine. Amassing an impressive 25 years working within the healthcare industry, Dr. Chiang has been recognized in her role as Professor of Neurosurgery.
Dr. Chiang found an interest in her profession from always having an appreciation for the challenge of Neurosurgery. Focusing her studies in this area, Dr. Chiang received her MD from the University of Western Australia where she graduated in 1992.
Following on from her academic success, Dr. Chiang earnt the opportunity to complete extensive training to include her Residency at the Yale University School of Medicine, Fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a second Fellowship at Yale-New Haven Hospital Fellowship. Dr. Chiang is also highly regarded as AB of Neurological Surgery, Board Certification.
In her current capacity, Dr. Chiang fulfills the role of Associate Professor at Yale University – School of Medicine, which she has occupied for the past 6 years. Displaying expertise in Neurosurgery, her daily responsibilities are focused in a clinical/teaching roll setting. Dr. Chiang also commits her time to conducting research on brain matters.

Looking to the future Dr. Chiang aspires to become a full-time professor at Yale whilst continuing with her ongoing research collaborations.
